Non-drip cable
Non-dropping cable refers to the cable insulated with oil-immersed paper impregnated with high-viscosity impregnating agent. The production process and product structure of the non-drip cable are basically the same as that of the ordinary viscous impregnated cable, except that the performance of the impregnating agent is different. In addition to the impregnating agent, the specification range of non-drip cable, the structure of conductive core, insulation and inner and outer protective layer are the same as those of adhesive impregnated cable. Because the impregnating agent of non-drip cable is different from that of viscous impregnating cable, the impregnating time is slightly longer, so the cost and price are slightly higher.
Advantages of non-drip cable
The production process and product structure of the non-drip cable are basically the same as that of the ordinary viscous impregnated cable, except that the performance of the impregnating agent is different. Because of this difference, the non-drip cable is far superior to the ordinary viscous impregnated cable, which is reflected in the following aspects: 1. The non-drip cable is suitable for high drop and vertical laying. The impregnating agent for ordinary viscous impregnated cables is a mixture of low voltage cable oil and rosin. Because of its low viscosity, it will flow even at low operating temperature. 2. The allowable working temperature of non-drip cable is high. The allowable working temperature of non-drip cable is higher than that of adhesive impregnated cable. Because the viscosity of the impregnating agent of the viscous immersed cable decreases with the increase of temperature; The non-dripping impregnating agent generally does not flow when it is lower than the dropping point temperature. In addition, the aging performance of the non-dripping cable is good, so the maximum working temperature of the cable can be improved. 3. It is convenient to update and replace the adhesive immersed cable. Due to the above advantages of non-drip cable, non-drip cable can be used to replace all occasions applicable to viscous impregnated cable, and the connection box, terminal box and other accessories for ordinary viscous impregnated cable can be used during installation, and can also be connected with ordinary viscous impregnated cable.
Features of non-drip cable
Because the impregnating agent of non-drip cable is different from that of viscous impregnating cable, the impregnating time is slightly longer, so the cost and price are slightly higher. However, from the introduction of the structure and performance of the non-drip cable above, it can be seen that it has good technical and economic benefits: 1. The non-drip cable will not flow with the impregnating agent at the maximum allowable working temperature, so the cable can be laid vertically or obliquely, and there is no drop limit when it is used. 2. After replacing dry insulated cable with non-drip cable, the outer diameter of the cable can be reduced by 20-40%, which can save a lot of materials, reduce the price and facilitate the laying. 3. The non-dripping cable will not expand the air gap of the cable due to the flowing of the impregnating agent. It has better aging resistance and electrical stability than the viscous impregnating cable, so its working temperature can be improved. This is beneficial to save conductor materials or improve the current carrying capacity of cables. China has officially listed the non-trickling cable as a new product, and it is in the development stage. In the future, we should strengthen the research work on the use and installation of cables, so as to promote the application of non-drip cables faster. In addition to the impregnating agent, the specification range of non-drip cable, the structure of conductive core, insulation and inner and outer protective layer are the same as those of adhesive impregnated cable.
