Flexible cable
Flexible cable is a wire product used to transmit electric energy, information and realize electromagnetic energy conversion. The cable core is wrapped with fine copper wire and used as power cable for mobile equipment.
Requirements for flexible cable structure
According to its structural requirements, it can be divided into: 1. Its conductor structure is multi-strand soft structure, which is Class 3 or Class 4 conductor. 2. In addition to general electrical and physical properties, insulation and sheath materials must be soft, oil resistant, low temperature resistant and flame retardant. 3. The flexible cables used for crane and other lifting equipment tend to use flat cables instead of traditional round cables. 4. The lifting equipment with long distribution distance and large power must adopt the form of high-voltage power distribution, and the corresponding flat cable must also adopt high-voltage flat cable.
Introduction to characteristics of flexible cable
1. The flexible cable generally has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance, aging resistance, etc., and the shielding type has the performance of dry resistance; 2. Low-smoke and low-halogen wires and cables have low smoke emission, less hydrogen chloride gas release, and no delayed combustion, so they have little damage and high safety to other equipment, personal safety, and environment in case of fire; 3. Cross-linked polyethylene insulated cable has large current capacity, light structure, and is not limited by the laying level drop. The short-term overload working temperature of the cable is not more than 130 ℃, the total short-circuit temperature of the line is not more than 250 ℃, and the maximum duration is not more than 5 seconds; 4. Fire-resistant cable can maintain normal operation for more than 90 minutes under the flame condition of 750 ℃ - 900 ℃, and its fire resistance characteristic test meets the requirements of GB 12666.6.
