wire and cable|What do green wires and cables represent?

Wire and cable green line

The green color of the wire represents the live wire, and the voltage to the ground is 220V. The wire is composed of one or several flexible wires, which are mainly divided into bare wire, electromagnetic wire and insulated wire. The naming of the wire product should comply with the principle of from inside to outside, that is, the order of conductor, insulation, inner sheath, outer sheath and armored type.

Application of cables and wires

In household electricity, single-phase 220V AC power is generally used, that is, a live wire is marked with red; A zero line, marked with blue; A safety grounding wire shall be marked with yellow and green colors.    In transmission lines, three-phase five-wire system is generally adopted. Yellow, green and red represent three-phase A, B and C respectively. The other two are blue working zero line N and yellow and green protective zero line PE respectively.    Industrial power supply generally adopts three-phase four-wire system, yellow, green and red represent three-phase A, B and C respectively, and yellow and green two-color line is the protection zero line PE.

Function of cable and wire color

The national standard stipulates the mandatory requirements for cable color. On the one hand, the standardized wiring makes the overall project more beautiful and improves the image of the overall wiring. More importantly, the standardized wiring is to prevent the occurrence of wrong operation. In electric power construction, construction personnel can easily and correctly distinguish all kinds of wires in the conductor according to the cable color to prevent wiring errors and major accidents. In industrial applications, many high current and high voltage cables are only black, and the cables must also be marked with various colored heat-shrinkable tubes.
