High-voltage cable is a kind of power cable, which is used to transmit power cables between 1kv and 1000kv. It is mainly used for power transmission and distribution.

Of course, armoured high-voltage cables are mainly used for underground burial, which can resist the high intensity compression on the ground and prevent other external forces from damaging.

Service characteristics of high-voltage cable

This product is applicable to the fixed transmission and distribution lines with AC rated voltage of 35KV and below. The maximum long-term working temperature of the cable conductor is 90 ℃. In case of short circuit (the maximum time is not more than 5S), the maximum temperature of the cable conductor is not more than 250 ℃.

Type of high-voltage cable

The main types of MV cables include YJV cable, VV cable, YJLV cable and VLV cable. The full name of YJV cable is cross-linked polyethylene insulated PVC sheathed power cable (copper core). The full name of VV cable is PVC insulated PVC sheathed power cable (copper core). The full name of YJLV cable is cross-linked polyethylene insulated PVC sheathed aluminum core power cable. The full name of VLV cable is PVC insulated PVC sheathed aluminum core power cable. Due to the excellent conductivity of copper conductor, more and more projects use copper core power cable as the trunk of power supply system, while the application of aluminum core power cable is less, especially in the higher voltage power system, the more copper core cables are selected.
