What are wires and cables?

There is no strict boundary between "wire" and "cable".    Generally, the products with small number of cores, small diameter and simple structure are called wires. The ones without insulation are called bare wires, and the others are called cables.    Larger conductor cross-section (more than 6 mm2) is called large wire, smaller conductor cross-section (less than or equal to 6 mm2) is called small wire, and insulated wire is also called cloth wire.

1. The cable model is divided into four parts. The first part expresses the cable category, insulation structure, conductor material, inner sheath category, structural characteristics, armor layer category and outer sheath category.    2. The second number part represents the type of armor layer and the outer layer: the first number represents the type of armor layer, and the second number represents the type of outer layer.    3.
