Yjy cable characteristics

1. Power frequency rated voltage: U0/U (Um) 0.6/1 (1.2) kV.    2. The maximum allowable long-term working temperature of cable conductor is 90 ℃.    3. In case of short circuit (the longest duration shall not exceed 5s), the maximum allowable temperature of cable conductor shall not exceed 250 ℃.    4. The ambient temperature during cable laying shall not be lower than 0 ℃.    5. The bending radius of the cable shall not be less than 15 times the outer diameter of the cable.

The difference between yjy cable and yjv cable

1. The sheath material of yjy is polyethylene, and polyethylene does not contain toxic halogen; The jacket material of yjv is polyvinyl chloride, which contains toxic halogen.    2. V polyvinyl chloride can not be cross-linked, while Y polyvinyl chloride can be cross-linked (E can be replaced by Y after cross-linking).    3. PVC sheathed cables are used in general situations, while YJY PVC sheathed cables are used in closed or densely populated places, such as subway underground stations, large shopping malls, large underground business halls, etc.    4. YJY cable is about 20% higher than YJV type before the copper price rises (small and medium section), and now it is less than 10% higher.    5. The former will produce a large amount of harmful gas in the fire environment, and the cable can only be used in general safety occasions; The latter produces little or no harmful gas in the fire environment, and is used in densely populated places (such as shopping malls, conference halls, etc.). Such cables are generally referred to as "halogen-free low smoke" power cables;    6. Water resistance and low temperature resistance, yjy is better than yjv.    7. Flame retardancy, yjv is better than yjy.    8. In terms of price, there is little difference between yjv and yjy. However, the price of cross-linked polyethylene is higher than that of PVC, so yjy is slightly higher than yjv.
