CAS: random signaling. Line signaling is a kind of information mode that monitors the belief of the call status on the trunk line and transmits it through the business channel capability or the belief channel always associated with it. They are divided in order to distinguish the monitoring signaling between the relay circuits on the voice path from the recorder signaling between the control circuits.
