Usage characteristics of railway signal cables

(1) The ambient temperature of the cable is - 40 ℃~+60 ℃.  (2) The long-term operating temperature of the cable conductor should not exceed+70 ℃.  (3) Ambient temperature for cable laying: PVC sheathed cables should not be lower than 0 ℃; The polyethylene outer sheath cable shall not be lower than - 20 ℃.  (4) Allowable bending radius of cables: non armored cables shall not be less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable; The armored cable shall not be less than 15 times the outer diameter of the cable.  (5) The ideal shielding coefficient of comprehensive sheathed railway signal cable is ≤ 0.8; Ideal shielding coefficient of aluminum sheathed railway signal cable ≤ 0.3.  Cables with a delivery length of 500m or more shall not be less than 50% of the total delivery length; The delivery length of short cables of 50~250m should not exceed 5% of the total delivery length; The measurement error of cable length shall not exceed ± 0.5%.
