一、 Differentiation between wires and cables

"Wire" and "cable" do not have strict boundaries. Generally, products with a small number of cores, a small product diameter, and a simple structure are referred to as wires. The ones without insulation are called bare wires, and the others are called cables. "Those with a large cross-sectional area of conductors (greater than 6 square millimeters) are referred to as large wires, while those with a smaller cross-sectional area (less than or equal to 6 square millimeters) are referred to as small wires. Insulated wires are also referred to as cloth wires.".
