Rubber sheathed cables have a development history of more than 100 years, and they are the oldest variety of all wire and cable products. Rubber sheathed cables are mostly used in mobile and harsh working conditions. Rubber sheathed cable is a flexible and movable cable type that consists of multiple strands of fine copper wire as the conductor, wrapped with rubber insulation and rubber sheath. It can be divided into heavy rubber sheathed flexible cables (YC cables, YCW cables), medium rubber sheathed flexible cables (YZ cables, YZW cables), light rubber sheathed flexible cables (YQ cables, YQW cables), waterproof rubber sheathed flexible cables (JHS cables, JHSB cables), electric welding machine cables (YH cables, YHF cables), etc. In addition, there are also YHD cables for outdoor tinned power connection lines.
Universal rubber sheathed flexible cables
Universal rubber sheathed flexible cables are widely used in industry, agriculture, and daily use as mobile power cords for connecting electrical devices. They can be used in various indoor and outdoor environments. Generally, lightweight rubber sheathed cables are used in daily use appliances, small electric equipment, and require flexibility, lightness, and good bending performance; In addition to industrial use, medium-sized rubber sheathed cables are widely used in agricultural electrification, and heavy-duty cables are used in occasions such as port machinery, searchlights, and large-scale hydraulic drainage and irrigation stations in household industries. Universal rubber sheathed cables move frequently and are often subjected to external mechanical forces such as bending, torsion, and friction during use, so they are required to be soft and wear-resistant. In addition, cables that are frequently exposed to oil and used outdoors must withstand sunlight, so they are also required to have resistance to sunlight aging, oil resistance, and moisture resistance.
Welding machine cables are characterized by low voltage, high current, frequent movement, and often subjected to twisting, bending, dragging, and other effects during use. The use environment may include acids, alkalis, and oils. Therefore, for welding machine cables, the conductive core must be very soft, the insulation must be flame retardant, and the sheath must have wear, oil, and aging resistance properties. Electric welding machine cables are suitable for secondary side wiring and connecting welding tongs for electric welding machines with an AC voltage to ground not exceeding 200V and a pulsating DC peak value of 400V. It is a special cable suitable for secondary side wiring of electric welding machines and connecting welding tongs. The rated voltage AC does not exceed 200V and the pulsating DC peak value 400V. The structure is a single wire core, made of multi-stranded flexible conductors, wrapped with heat resistant polyester film insulation tape outside the conductive wire core, and the outermost layer is made of rubber insulation and sheath as a protective layer.
Waterproof rubber sheathed flexible cable
Waterproof rubber sheathed flexible cable is mainly used for connecting power to submersible motors or pumps with AC voltages of 450/750V and below, and can also be used in oil contaminated situations. JHS waterproof rubber sheathed cable is used for transmitting electric energy on submersible motors with an AC voltage of 500 V or less. Under long-term immersion and high water pressure, it has good electrical insulation performance, good bending performance, and can withstand frequent movement.
