Sheath wire
The types of sheathed wires are generally divided into BVV wires and RVV wires, where their model letters represent B: for cloth wires, R: for flexible wire structures, V: PVC insulation in plastic, and V: PVC sheath in plastic. In fact, these two types of wires are essentially the same, both belonging to sheathed wires. However, if they are separated, they will have certain differences in category and construction. For example, BVV wires belong to hard sheathed wires, while RVV wires belong to soft sheathed wires.
BVV cable
What are the differences in categories between BVV lines and RVV lines?
The full name of BVV cable is copper core PVC insulated PVC sheathed circular sheathed wire, also known as light PVC sheathed cable, commonly known as hard sheathed wire, which is a type of sheathed wire.
The full name of RVV cable is light copper core PVC insulated PVC sheathed flexible cable, also known as light PVC sheathed flexible wire, commonly known as soft sheathed wire, which is a type of sheathed wire.
RVV cable
What are the differences in construction between BVV lines and RVV lines?
BVV wire is a single copper wire with a larger cross-section inside, while RVV wire is a single copper wire with a smaller cross-section inside. For example, they are all 2 * 1.5 sheaths;
The BVV inner core is a single copper wire BVV, with two inner cores, each with a cross-sectional area of 1.5, and each inner core is a copper wire with a diameter of 1.38;
The RVV inner core is composed of many small filaments, with RVV2 inner cores, each with a cross-sectional area of 1.5, but each inner core is composed of 30 copper wires with a diameter of 0.25mm. So BVV is harder than RVV;
RVV is applied to power lines, control lines, and signal transmission lines for electrical, instrument, and electronic equipment, as well as automatic generation devices. Specifically, it can be used for the control installation of anti-theft alarm systems, building intercom systems, instruments, meters, monitoring and monitoring systems, etc;
BVV hard sheathed wire is suitable for cables and wires used in power plants, daily appliances, instruments, and telecommunications equipment with AC voltage of 450/750V and below, and is also used for surface mounted wires.
