What are high life wires and cables?
High life wires and cables refer to high-performance and long life wires and cables. The cable process and technology used in nuclear power plant, double insulation structure and irradiation crosslinking process (the insulation and sheath are all irradiated and crosslinked) are adopted to ensure the mechanical and physical properties, electrical properties and Low smoke zero halogen flame retardancy of the cable, and extend the service life of the cable.
Characteristics of Long Life Wire and Cable Products
Long life wires and cables have characteristics such as halogen-free, low smoke, flame retardant, fire-resistant, long service life, high operating temperature, and high current carrying capacity.
Characteristics of Long Life Wire and Cable
(1) Anti aging: the double-layer insulation structure and radiation cross-linking process are adopted to ensure the mechanical and physical properties and electrical properties of the cable and extend the service life of the cable, with the service life not less than 70 years.
(2) Low toxicity: The cable does not contain halogens and has low toxicity;
(3) Flame retardant: The flame retardant performance of the cable is superior;
(4) High transparency: Excellent low smoke performance, which does not produce strong black smoke in the event of a fire, making it easy for the crowd to identify the direction.
(5) Working temperature: The long-term allowable operating temperature of cable conductors is 90 ℃, 105 ℃, and 125 ℃; The maximum operating temperature during a short circuit (with a maximum duration of 5 seconds) is 250 ℃.
(6) The service life of the product at 70 ℃ shall not be less than 70 years.
High Life Wire and Cable Usage
This product is suitable for distribution networks or industrial installations with a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV or below, and can be used in all densely populated public places such as shopping malls, theaters, stations, airports, etc.
Working temperature: The long-term allowable operating temperature of cable conductors is 90 ℃, 105 ℃, and 125 ℃; The maximum operating temperature during a short circuit (with a maximum duration of 5 seconds) is 250 ℃.
Laying temperature: It is not recommended to lay cables when the ambient temperature is below 0 ℃, otherwise heating measures should be taken.
