Introduction to Mining Cables
Mining cables are wires and cables used in the mining industry, which are very important things in coal mines. Mining cables are used in the coal mining industry to connect mining machines, conveyors, and basic lighting, communication and other machinery equipment. Due to the harsh working environment of mine cables, excessive accumulation in coal mines can easily cause explosions, therefore the safety requirements for cables are very high.
Mining cables are a general term for coal mine cables. All mining cables are insulated wires and should undergo safety certification. China's Mining Anti Commodity Safety Mark Management Center has awarded a qualification certificate for mining anti commodity safety marks. Mining cables refer to the wire and cable products used for ground equipment and underground equipment in the coal mining industry. This includes cables for coal mining machines, conveyors, communication, lighting and signal equipment, as well as power cables for electric drill cables, cap light wires, and underground mobile substations.
Structural characteristics
1. The use of copper wires is a flexible structure composed of multiple single wire bundles twisted together, and the flexible wire conductor usually adopts a Class 5 or Class 6 conductor structure;
2. The multiple of cable spacing is very small;
3. Rubber materials are usually used as insulation materials;
4. Many products are woven with metal, which makes the electric field uniform and improves the sensitivity display of insulation conditions;
5. The outer sheath is thicker and color separation is carried out in the mine, making it easier for construction personnel to identify cables of different voltage levels.
Usage characteristics
1. It has a wide range of applications, mainly used for ground and underground equipment in the mining industry, including mining electric drill cables, communication and lighting equipment cables, mining and transportation cables, mining lamp cables, and underground mobile substation power supply cables;
2. Due to the harsh working environment and extremely complex usage environment of mine cables, excessive accumulation of coal dust can easily cause explosions, so the safety requirements for cables are very high;
When using mining cables, frequent movement, bending, and twisting are required. So the wire is soft, structurally stable, and not easily twisted. And it has a certain degree of wear resistance.
Development status
After several years of rapid development, China's mining cables have formed a considerable scale, but due to production capacity exceeding demand, there is a situation of oversupply. The production capacity has greatly exceeded the predicted demand value for this year, and at the same time, wire and cable enterprises are facing the problem of urgently improving the technical content of their products.
In recent years, there has been a lot of low-level repetitive construction, and the wire and cable industry has not paid enough attention to the adjustment of product structure. The contradiction in product structure is still prominent, and high-level products cannot meet the needs. For example, from a general perspective, China's bare wire production accounts for nearly 1/5, while developed countries only account for 1/10. Among the bare wires, overhead lines and ordinary steel core aluminum stranded wires account for the vast majority.
2. Low economic benefits. There are more than 700 loss making enterprises in the entire industry, with a loss area of over 1/4. The profit and tax rate of the industry's sales revenue was 11.7% in 1991, and decreased to 5% in 1995. Due to the continuous decline in efficiency, an increase in loss-making enterprises, and a general shortage of funds in the industry, the average asset liability ratio is as high as 70%.
3. The scale growth is too rapid, and the overall capacity of the wire and cable industry is more than double the demand. The predicted demand for each major category of products in 2000 is less than the production capacity.
