Wire and cable letters
The models of wires and cables are composed of seven groups of letters and numbers, and different letters represent different wires, as shown below: 1. The first group is composed of one to two letters, representing the category and purpose of wires, while different letters represent different wires, including the following: A represents Yes; The installation line B represents: the distribution line C represents: the marine cable K represents: the control cable N represents: the agricultural cable R represents: the flexible cable U represents: the mining cable Y represents: the mobile cable JK represents: the insulated overhead cable M represents: the coal mine ZR represents: the flame retardant NH represents: the fire-resistant ZA represents: the Class A flame retardant ZC represents: the Class B flame retardant WD represents: the low-smoke halogen-free type; 2. The second group is a letter, representing the material of conductor material, T represents: copper conductor L represents: aluminum conductor; 3. The third group is a letter representing the insulation layer. V represents: PVC plastic YJ represents: xlpe insulator X represents: rubber Y represents: polypropylene F represents: polytetrafluoroethylene; 4. The fourth group is a letter representing the sheath. V represents: PVC sheath Y represents: polyethylene material N represents: nylon sheath P represents copper wire woven shield, P2 represents: copper tape shield L represents: cotton yarn woven and lacquered Q represents: lead package; 5. The fifth group is a letter representing the characteristics. B represents: flat R represents: soft C represents: heavy Q represents: light G represents: high voltage H represents: welding machine S represents: twisted pair; 6. The sixth group is a number, representing the armor layer (lower small foot mark). 2 represents: double steel strip 3 represents: thin round steel wire 4 represents: thick round steel wire; 7. The seventh group is a number representing the outer sheath. (The lower footmark) 0 represents: no sheath 1 represents: fiber layer 2 represents PVC sheath.
Cable symbol and meaning
What do BV, BLV, BVVB, BVR, RV, RVS, RVV, QVR, AVVR, VV, VLV, KVV mean in wires and cables? Some models of electric wires, B series, are classified as cloth wires. Therefore, B is used at the beginning. Voltage: 300/500V electric wires are divided into electromagnetic wires and general insulated wires according to their purposes. Insulated wires are also called cloth wires. Insulated wire (laying wire) refers to the wire covered with insulating layer, including various connecting wires and installation wires. V is PVC PVC, that is, (plastic), L is the code of aluminum core, T is the code of copper core (generally omitted), R is the meaning of (soft). To be soft, it is to increase the number of conductors, BV copper core PVC insulated wire, BLV aluminum core PVC insulated wire, BVR copper core PVC insulated flexible wire, and the above wire structure: conductor+insulation.
