Wire and cable GB

GB is a national standard, which is approved and issued by the national standardization authority and is of great significance to the national economic and technological development and is unified nationwide. National standards are unified technical requirements across the country. The standardization administrative department of the State Council shall prepare plans, coordinate the division of labor, organize the formulation (including revision), and uniformly examine, approve, number and issue national standards. If there are other provisions on the formulation of national standards in the law, the provisions of the law shall prevail. The service life of national standards is generally 5 years. After the service life, the national standards will be revised or reformulated. In addition, with the development of society, the country needs to formulate new standards to meet the needs of people's production and life. Therefore, standards are dynamic information.

Difference between wire and cable JB and GB

JB is the machinery industry standard. GB is a national standard. The two standards are implemented and cannot be used together for comparison. GB is higher than JB, and JB is stricter than GB. JB and GB are not the same level. GB is fundamental, and JB should put forward higher requirements on the basis of complying with GB.

Wire and cable industry standard

Industry standards are standards formulated for technical requirements that need to be unified in a certain industry in the country without national standards. Industry standards shall not conflict with relevant national standards. Relevant industry standards shall be coordinated and unified, and shall not be repeated. Industry standards shall be abolished after the implementation of corresponding national standards. The industrial standards are under the unified management of the industrial standards department.

Industrial standard classification of wires and cables

Industry standards are divided into mandatory standards and recommended standards. The code of the recommended industry standard is the mandatory industry standard code followed by "/T". Our national standard codes are divided into GB and GB/T. The Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China divides Chinese standards into four levels: national standards, industrial standards, local standards (DB) and enterprise standards (Q/). By the end of 2003, China had 20906 national standards (excluding engineering construction standards). National standards are formulated by the standardization administrative department of the State Council in China, and industrial standards are formulated by the relevant administrative departments of the State Council.
