What is photovoltaic cable
Photovoltaic cable, also known as photovoltaic special cable, its conductor part is copper conductor or tinned copper conductor, the insulation layer is irradiated cross-linked polyolefin insulation, and the sheath is irradiated cross-linked polyolefin insulation. The photovoltaic special cable, also known as the small confluence line, is mainly used to transmit the DC electric energy generated by the photovoltaic panels. With its superior all-weather capability and wear resistance, it has become a special cable for the photovoltaic industry, and is also the most basic electric energy transmission medium in the pyramid structure of photovoltaic engineering. Photovoltaic cable is an electron beam cross link cable. When its rated temperature is 120 ° C, this rating is equivalent to 18 years of service at a continuous temperature of 90 ° C; When the temperature is lower than 90 ℃, its service life is generally longer and can reach more than 25 years. In addition to high temperature and corrosion resistance, photovoltaic cables also have strong ductility and tensile strength to facilitate installation and maintenance in different environments.
Main uses of photovoltaic cables
Photovoltaic cables, which usually work in a harsh environment, need to be resistant to high temperature, cold, acid, alkali and salt corrosion, and also need to be resistant to strong ultraviolet radiation, and have flame retardant characteristics. The service life of the gas is more than or equal to 25 years.
Cable type of photovoltaic power generation system
1. PV special cable: PV1-F1 * 4mm2. 2. Power cable: ZRC-YJV22. 3. Power cable: NH-VV. 4. Control cable: ZRC-KVVP. 5. Communication cable: DJYVRP2-22. 6. Communication cable: RVVP. 7. RF cable: SYV.
Difference between PV cable and ordinary cable
1. PV cable:Conductor: copper conductor or tinned copper conductor. Insulation: irradiation cross-linked polyolefin insulation. Sheath: irradiation cross-linked polyolefin insulation. 2. Ordinary cable:Conductor: copper conductor or tinned copper conductor. Insulation: PVC or XLPE insulation.Sheath: PVC sheath. 3. It can be seen from the above that the conductors used for ordinary cables are the same as those for photovoltaic cables. 4. It can be seen from the above that the insulation and sheath of ordinary cables are different from photovoltaic cables. 5. Ordinary cables are only suitable for laying in ordinary environment, while photovoltaic cables can be used for laying in harsh environment.
