What line is RVS?

Full name of RVS wire: copper core PVC insulated stranded flexible wire for connection, R: flexible wire; 5: PVC (insulator); S: Twisted pair, RVS model has an additional S-twisted pair meaning, RVS is commonly known as "flower thread".

Structure of RVS

Two RV wires (copper wire+PVC insulation) are twisted, the conductor is oxygen-free copper wire or aluminum core (more copper wires), and the insulation is PVC.

Classification of RVS wires

1. Ordinary RVS wire; 2. Flame retardant RVS wire; 3. Fire-resistant RVS wire; 4. Low-smoke halogen-free RVS wire.

Applicable scope of RVS wire

RVS wires are applicable to power, household appliances, instruments and telecommunications equipment with AC rated voltage of 450/750V and below, and sometimes can also be used for connecting wires for lighting,   It can also be reluctantly used as a cloth wire. In most cases, it will be used for the internal connection of various machines and instruments. It can be used frequently in the field of security,  So it is also called fire line. Double-white core is used to directly connect the lamp cap wire; Red and blue cores are used for fire fighting and alarm lights; Red and white cores are used for broadcasting and telephone lines; Red and black cores are used for broadcast lines.
