What cable is VVR？

The full name of VVR is copper core PVC insulated and sheathed flexible structure power cable, with voltage grade of 0.6/1KV.    The fifth conductor of the national standard is used. The diameter of each copper wire is about 0.2-0.3mm. The number of copper wires is relatively large, so it is relatively soft.

Applicable scope of VVR cable

It is applicable to the power cord that is frequently moved, such as the power cord of the computer. It is a derivative of VV power cable,    It is applicable to the transmission of continuous current by distribution network or industrial electrical equipment with AC rated voltage U0/U/600/1000V and below.

Differences between VVR and RVV wires

1. Cable attribute: RVV is generally called flexible wire, while VVR is called flexible cable. The full name of RVV is PVC insulated PVC sheathed flexible cable.   The letter R represents the flexible cable. Of course, when R is placed after V, VR represents the PVC flexible sheath.   2. Voltage level: RVV rated voltage 300/500V flexible wire, while VVR general voltage level is 0.6/1kV.   3. Scope of application: VVR is applicable to frequently moving power cords, such as computer power cords.   4. Executive standard: RVV is manufactured according to the national standard GB/T 5023-2008. Refer to GB/T 12706-2008 for VVR manufacturing standards.   5. Cable structure: VVR is the same as VV structure.   6. Number of cable cores: RVV conductor section is 0.5-2.5, and the number of cable cores is 2-5.
