What is a compensating cable?
The compensation cable is a cable that connects a thermocouple to a temperature display instrument. Submersible motors with an AC voltage below 500V are used for transmitting electrical energy. Under long-term immersion and high water pressure, it has good electrical insulation performance. Waterproof rubber sheathed cables have good bending performance and can withstand frequent movements.
The function of compensating cables
The function of the compensation cable is to extend the cold end of the multipoint hot electrode and moving thermocouple, and connect it with the display instrument to form a multipoint temperature measurement system. The compensation cable adopts an imported high-quality fluoroplastic insulation layer and protective layer, and adopts a new process of continuous extrusion as a whole, making the product have excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance, wear resistance, non combustible ductility, and can be immersed in oil and water for a long time. The operating temperature of compensation cables is -60-260 ℃, which belongs to the contemporary international advanced level. Thermocouple compensation cables are suitable for multi-point connection of automatic temperature measurement instruments in industries such as power, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, light textile, as well as national defense, scientific research, and other departments.
Characteristics of compensation cables
Compensation cables are suitable for electrical connections between various thermocouples and temperature display instruments with graduation numbers S, K, E, I, and N to improve the accuracy of temperature measurement. Generally, PVC insulation sheath is used, which is resistant to high temperature, acid, alkali, oil, wear, aging, waterproof, and non combustible. Silicone rubber insulated compensation wires and compensation cables have characteristics such as oil resistance, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and waterproof softness. Compensation cables are composed of a certain number of twisted wires or shielded compensation wires, which are then wrapped in shielding layers, sheaths, armor layers, etc. Their performance specifications, models, grades, and structural dimensions are generally the same.
